The guestbook is finally done!
And it's all thanks to Atabook. I feel like the guestbook being done represents a big step in this web site's development.
And now to receive some messages...hopefully I'll get nice ones. Or at least constructive ones. (This will also be the decider to see if I've set up the guest book properly).
A couple of recent updates: there is now an archive of these very updates (how meta) for 2025.
I have also decided to try out a dark mode, with an inverted colour palette and different themes. A lot of my posts on here are pretty optimistic and I guess it's because I am an optimist, but recently I've been feeling less optimistic, for a number of reasons. The state of the world, for one. Though I don't think that's a very modern viewpoint; every generation has thought the world completely fucked, damaged beyond repair.
But I do like carving out this little corner of the internet for myself, so that must be good in some ways.
Hello again, and happy new year; I know it's been a while.
I have posted a new diary entry, the first of this year. I've also decided to archive the 2025 posts onto a seperate page to stop things from getting confused. I'm going to - at some point - create a yearly archive of the other parts of this site, too, probably except the short stories I've written (I don't mind keeping those as is).
I am also going to try and implement a Music page. I listen to lots of music and I think it would be nice to display some of it here. (My HTML skills still leave a lot to be desired, so I can see this taking some time).
